Show ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS The annual 'Christmas Sing' was held Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Central with all grades participating. par-ticipating. ESN - All elemenary schools closed clos-ed for the Christmas recess after school, Friday, Dec. 20. They will reopen at the usual time Thursday, Jan. 2, 1968. The Christmas party for the Grovecrest employed personnel, person-nel, was held at 7 a.m. Friday, Fri-day, Dec. 20. ESN Santa Claus with his bag of Christmas treats arrived at Central on Thursday, Dec. 19. Sponsors of the event were the Central PTA and the local lo-cal Jaycees. ESN The children at Lindon School presented Christmas programs for their parents and friends, Friday, Dec. 20. Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and Fourth grades entertained en-tertained at 10 a.m. Fifth and Sixth grades entertained at 1:25 p.m. First grade students remained at school Friday until un-til 2:20 p.m. ESN It's "Toy Day" at Grovecrest Grove-crest Thursday, Jan. 2. Each child may bring one toy. ESN The political pot was boiling boil-ing at Valley View last .Monday. .Mon-day. A rally was held at which ' candidates running for office gave campaign addresses and skits before the entire student-body. |
