Foley, whose post-office address is Kearns Bldg., Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application lor a United ; States Patent for the SHEALD j NO. 3 Lode mining claim sit uate in the West Mountain Mining District, Salt Lake County, Utah, designated as Mineral Survey No. 6938, and described in the field notes and plat of the official survey sur-vey on file in this office, with magnetic variation at 17 degrees 00 minutes east, as follows: Commencing at Post No. 1, a corner of the claim, ( from which the Cor. to Sees. 34, 35, 2 and 3, Tps. 3 and 4 S., R. 3 W., S. L. B. & M., bears N. 27 degrees 05 niin-Jites niin-Jites W. 1979.7 ft,, and running ence N. 86 degrees 31 minutes 475 ft. to Cor. No. 2 ; thence S. i 17 degrees 53 minutes W. 644 ft. to Cor. No. 3 ; thence 8. 86 degrees ! 31 minutes E. 475 ft. to Cor. No. 4; thence N. 17 degrees 53 minutes min-utes E. 644 ft. to Cor. No. 1, the place of beginning. Said lode mining claim is located loca-ted in the NW Sec. 2, T. 4 8., R. 3 W., S. L. Mer., and contains a net area of 1.416 acres, the areas in conflict with Lot. 159 I Webster lode ; Lot 269 St. James ! lode; Lot 367 Occidental lode; Sur. 2975 Unlimited lode ; Sur 3444 Martha D. lode; Sur. 4809 Grand View lode ; Sur. 4810 Shield Fraction lode and Sur. 6934 Betty Walker lode, having been excluded ; said Sheald No. 3 lode location mining claim being of record in the office of the County Recorder of said mining min-ing district at Salt Lake City in Salt Lake County. Utah. The nearest known location being the aforesaid excluded claims and Lot 106 Silver Sheald lode; Sur. 5435 Geisha, Cincinnati, and Legislator lodes; and Lot. 263 Florence lode. I direct that this notice be published pub-lished in the Bingham Bulletin at Bingham Canyon, Utah, the newspaper news-paper published nearest the said paper published nearest the said mining claims, for the period of nine consecutive weeks.
