| Show Prove It By LARRY MANN Prove It If If you were arrested arrested- for being a Mormon would your life be evidence enough to prove you guilty or would you be acquitted MANY YOUNG men say they are planning to go on missions But do their lives prove that they have real missionary desires Do they know what they're saying What is a mission anyway It is getting up early praying much studying the scriptures constantly preparing your own food ironing your own clothes working hard walking walking walking walk walk- ing all day long bearing your testimony facing hardships and disappointments as well as spiritual and joyful But it is hard work AGAIN DO our lives prove that we e love the Gospel enough to go on missions We need to remember that the example of our lives is the real proof of what we care about most Our example is our best missionary tool AT TESTIMONY meetings we bear our testimonies that we know that the Gospel is true but do our lives prove our claims Do our standards prove what we say Lets Let's hope so Talk is cheap By UBy their fruits ye shall know them When we go to get a temple recommend one of the questions questions questions ques ques- we are asked is Do UDo you support the General Authorities Authorities Authorities Au Au- Do our lives prove our support Do we want a temple recommend bad enough to be really worthy IF WE SAY I have faith do our lives prove it We must be able to prove pur our faith with more than just words We are often called on to give talks in Church Lets Let's make sure that our lives are the proof of those things we teach LET YOUR light so shine before men that they may maysee maysee maysee see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven Matthew 1 |
