Show Workshops to focus i on small business "New Business Dimensions" Dimen-sions" is the theme of a series of short workshops being held throughout the area during October and November. The briefings are designed to provide employers with information for financing small business development through new federal loans, , tax credits and on-job-training reimbursements. reim-bursements. The first workshop is being held in Park City Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Park Meadows Racquet Club. Workshop sessions are open to all business owners and managers, man-agers, accountants, lawyers, city and county officials, medical professionals and real estate developers. The Park City Chamber Bureau and the Small Business Support Department Depart-ment of the Mountainland Association of Governments are the cosponsors of the event. New aspects of business busi-ness financing and cost reductions will be presented through panel discussions and individual sessions with employers. Programs under the new Job Training Partnership Part-nership Act of 1982, which begins Oct. 1, will be presented. Panelists include: in-clude: Howard Bird, associate asso-ciate director, Utah Division of Industrial and Economic Development; Shirley Fra-zier, Fra-zier, job developer, Mountainland Moun-tainland Small Business Support Division; and David Turner, manager, Heber Job Service.
