Show Verrone's body is found Twenty-six days after Hank Verrone, 41, and Ken Binatena, 40, disappeared on the Great Salt Lake while duck hunting, searchers sear-chers recovered Verrone's body. Verrone's body was found Nov. 7, 13 miles from the place in the lake where he was last seen. ' 1 ' y'f Binatena's' body was'' found Nov. 1, about three miles southeast of the point where he, Verrone and Mike Giltner, also of Park City, entered the water when their small boat capsized Oct. 12. Giltner was able to swim to shore. But a search party laun ched later that day could not locate the two other men. According to Giltner, Verrone and Binatena decided to stay with the boat after it overturned in choppy waters. The search , represents the , . longest in the memory of Box Elder County Sheriff Robert Limb, who has been affiliated with that office for 26 years. Usually, bodies turn up in 11 to 12 days, he said. Memorial services have been held for both men. |
