Show J LindaSue's ) Corner Tis the time for those cool mornings and nothing's better than adding some warmth to a brisk morning by serving Glazed Coffee Braid which is economical and quick to prepare for all you busy mothers that are on the go. 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter 18 tsp. almond extract 2 Tbs. sugar 2 (7.5 oz) cans Pills. Refri. Biscuits 13 C. powdered sugar 1 to 2 tsp. milk 18 tsp. almond extract Sliced almonds, if desired. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In ungreased 8-inch round cake - -pan, melt margarine in oven. Stir in 18 tsp. almond extract; sprinkle sugar evenly over margarine mixture. Separate dough into 20 biscuits. Roll each biscuit between palms of hands to form a 4-inch strip. Join 2 strips end-to-end pinching to seal end well to form one 8-inch strip. Continue with remaining strips of dough. Using 9 strips of dough, braid into three 8-inch braids. Starting at outer dge of pan, coil braids around edge toward center. Twist remaining strip of dough and place in center. Bake at 375F for 22 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately. Combine powered sugar, almond extract and milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm coffee cake. If desired, sprinkle with sliced almonds. I don't know about you readers, but I would get confused when reading signs and maps that have been converted to kilometers. The solution is quite simple: when converting miles to kilometers multiply the miles by 1.6.
