Show Art School Registration Begins Registration for spring quarter classes at the Salt Lake Art Center School, 20 - South West Temple, begins March 2 and will continue through March 27. Courses are taught by professional artists in photography, photo-graphy, ceramics, drawing and painting, life drawing, portrait and figure painting, watercolor, leaded glass, calligraphy, weaving, screen printing, jewelry and metal-smithing metal-smithing and guitar. Spring Quarter also offers two workshops: basket quilting, quilt-ing, by Sandi Fox, April 14, 15 and lb; and a Woody Allen workshop March 28 taught by Sharon Swenson. A much expanded curriculum curricu-lum is being offered in courses for children in elementary and secondary education age groups. Courses are offered in drawing and painting, mime, ceramics, photography, guitar, gui-tar, and macrame for junior high and high school students, stu-dents, with the same courses offered at different times for elementary age students. Four special workshops are being offered for children: A soft sculpture workshop taught by Marilyn Stillman Caravaglia; mask making, taught by Jerry Gardner; film animation by Paul Auguston and creative writing writ-ing will be taught by Dr. Lori Clarke. Emmylou will be backed by "The Hot BancT'tor the performance which begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $9 and $10 reserved and may be purchased In Park City at Kimball Art Center. |
