Show Snow Sculpture Fete Slated for Saturday f - " '' - 'y Big cash prizes are expected to draw over a hundred entrants and as many as 5,000 spectators to the Park City Golf Course this Saturday for the seventh annual Snow Sculpture Contest. The popular annual event is jointly sponsored by KALL Radio, Coca-Cola and the Park City Resort. This year the surprising professional profes-sional snow sculptors will be competing for a $400 first place prize, $200 second prize, $100 third prize and $50 for places fourth through tenth. Judging the snow art will be two instructors from Westminster College and one from The Kimball Art Center here in Park City. Well known radio personality personal-ity Tom Barbari along with several other KALL Radio person alities will assist. The judges will take into consideration scale, design, content, detail and the number people participating in choosing the winning sculptures. Adding to the excitement this year, the KALL Radio people will attempt to build the world's largest snow man in hopes of winning a place in the Guiness Book of World Records. Participants will begin working with this year's ever abundant snow at 9 a.m. and must be complete by 3 p.m. Judging will occur from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at which time the winners will be announced and prizes awarded. "It's become quite a feature and I think its going to keep growing. Hopefully, its a good event for Park City," said Bennie Williams, a spokesman for KALL.
