Show community notices Immunization Clinic It is estimated that 20 million American children under 15 years of age have not had one or more of their regular childhood immunizations. If anyone in your family is not up to date on his or her immunizations, come to the immunization clinic Friday, March 10th 6 to 8 p.m. at the Summit Park fire station. The clinic is being sponsored by the Summit County Health Department. Vaccines will be provided by the Utah State Division of Health. The service is free and available to persons of all ages. Please bring your immunization records with you. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Further information may be obtained from . Diana Maxell, Public Health Nurse, at 649-9072. well child clinic The March Well-Child Clinic will be held Wednesday the 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Building. The clinic is for well children from birth to school age. Each child receives a physical examination, measurement of height and weight, and necessary immunizations. An audiologist from the Utah State Division of Health will be at the clinic this month to check hearing and measure the mechanical function of the middle ear. The equipment being used is able to detech problems early and assists in diagnosis of middle ear problems early and assists in diagnosis of middle ear problems sometimes missed in routine hearing screening andor ear examination. There is a $1.00 fee for each clinic visit. Immunizations are free.
