So Long Debbie Debbie Verville, a sophomore, soph-omore, a member of the Pep Club, and a member of the Prospector Staff, is leaving Park City High School. She is moving with her parents to Battle Mountain, Nevada, where her parents will manage man-age a hotel. Debbie has been living at the Edelwiess House at the lower part of town for nearly four years. Her parents have been managing the hotel. Students of Park City will be missing Debbie. Cory Flinders. -PCHS- At Long Last Mr. Brent Bird, Art and English teacher, finally moved into the new art building. build-ing. The new building is situated sit-uated across tire sidewalk east of the high school on the parking lot. . Believe it or not the building build-ing was scheduled to be completed com-pleted the first of September Septem-ber 1974, but it was on Jan. 30, 1975 that Mr. Bird with the help of students moved into the new building. The new art building was constructed so that the expanding ex-panding art classes can go in to other fields, such as pottery. pot-tery. The inside of the building has a tile floor and yellow carpeted walls. Mr. Bird's twelfth grade English class will also use the new building. The Bonanza Bon-anza King and Queen are selected sel-ected from the Senior Class. A dance Friday night was held in .honor of the King and Queen. The band, "Wild-childe". "Wild-childe". a favorite of many Park High students, played for the dancing. The title of Bonanza King and Queen is sponsored by the yearbook which is titled "The Bonanza". - Cory Flinders. Pillow Talk Now the work begins! Mr. Darrel Milliner, the director of the school play for Park City High School, along with the help of Mr. Fred Mar-chant, Mar-chant, the math teacher, and Mrs. Brenda Bensch, the speech and drama teacher; has chosen the cast for the play. The play is called 'Pillow Talk' and has the following cast: Jan, Maria Sweeten. Jonathan, Mark Evans. Brad, Kelly Mackley Alma, Paula Gasparac Pierot, Cory Flinders Mrs. Walters, Christine Kummer. Assistant Director, Maria Sweeten. -PCHS-Farewell Party Friday, January 24, the faculty at Park High gave a party for Farrel Wheelwright. Wheel-wright. Mr. Wheelwright was a custodian at Park High for 17 years. He recently resigned re-signed because of poor health. At the party the faculty reminisced, had punch and cookies, and then gave Mr. Wheelwright a down vest. Mr. Wheelwright served Park High faithfully his 17 years and the faculty and students stu-dents appreciate his service. Candace Bogue traveled trav-eled to Eastern Colorado this past weekend to be maid of honor at her first cousin's wedding. The weekend turned out great for Candace as the best man was eligible which caused caus-ed Mrs. Bogue to hold her breath as the bridal bouquet was tossed. Well, Mrs. Bogue can be partially relieved re-lieved as' Candace missed matching the bouquet, but not the best man. Candace Bogue. -PCHS- |
