Show Shakespeare Fest Underway The Utah Shakespearean Festival, which; began its eighteenth annual season last week on the campus of Southern Utah State College, offers residents of Utah and anu long ume resiivai friends will find the green show with its Punch and Judy, dancing and costumed vendors more delightful then ever. The Renaissance music is expanded with a twice weekly concert featuring Elizabethan court music. Titled Revels of the Queen, .the show is directed by Producing Director Fred Adams, and is performed by the Festival's Renaissance musicians. Directing the Shakespearean productions are Howard Jensen, Jim O'Connor and Sabin Epstein. Although many of the weekend nights are sold out, much good seating remains. Ramps and walkways have been widened widen-ed to accommodate wheel chairs and drinking fountains and wood benches have been installed. The popular green-show green-show dancers will perform in a newly completed pavilion located south of the Adams Memorial Theatre. In addition addi-tion to new landscaping, patrons this summer are " enjoying new production and stage lighting, a project which has been in process for over seven years. Many festival traditions are being carried through this summer. Seminars are held daily except Monday; a twice weekly movie of Romeo and Juliet is being shown, the surrounding areas a variety of education and entertainment. The season's three plays, King Lear, The Merry Wives of Windsor and All's Well that Ends Well, will be seen by approximately approximate-ly 30,000 people this summer sum-mer Combining colorful costumes cos-tumes and talented actors -performing in a beautiful Tudor building, and adding a s wide choice of daytime activities, the Festival provides pro-vides an all around experience exper-ience each summer.
