Show Stroller Notices The Homecomoing parade was great; What a thrill to see a marching band again for Park. Not only High School, but also the Marsac Even the mothers and former students added est. As always it isn't the game that is played and not won But how well the game was played. And one thing for sure, the Park City team put all they should live in Park City. But they don't even advertise adver-tise job openings in the local paper. And it seems harder for a local to get hired, moreso Than the transients who come here from all over. Keep up the good work as all are winners of many things. The hills this week seem to be at their very best. They are really cloaked in a variety of color. Each day seems to be brighter and prettier. Autumn can truly be the most beautiful of the year. The street rodders were in town Saturday. Some of those old cars looked in mint shape. They sure were polished and very beautiful indeed. They truly flourish under the tender loving care The owners are as gentle as though they are babies not cars. Each one shows great pride in his very own. And they like nothing better bet-ter than to show them off and tell all about them. Park City Ventures had a great story last week. Why more employees the road. It is real hard on everyone in this part of town as the road is a natural play area especially the smaller children who have not yet . realized the hazards. The way cars are parked, it is hard to see a child until it is too late. Jamie is at the University Un-iversity Hospital. The Park City Relief Society Soc-iety will hold their opening social October 1, at 10 a.m. This is the beginning of the new year so those, of you who are not yet used to the time and place, the meetings will be held each week on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Mark your calendar and come out. Mike Weaver is at last at home after the injuries he received in a fall this spring. Mike still has a long way to go to complete recovery, but you can bet he has the stamina stam-ina to make it. Young Gib Martinez has enlisted in the Naw. Hp has been gone for a couple of weeks now. We wish him the very best in this new venture. ven-ture. Louie and Afton Williams are vacationing in the Northwest. North-west. Perhaps they will tell us about their trip when they return home. Happy vacationing. |
