Show Where Were You? Editor: I read in last weeks Newspaper and Park Record that the Chamber of Commerce is planning plan-ning a visit from Santa on December 17. I'm sure the Record and the Newspaper will have . representatives to take pictures and write interesting stories about this event. However, on November 25th Santa arrived at the resort entrance and was sponsored by The Ski Connection and Miners' Hospital; several hundred Park City children enjoyed this early visit and received candy canes, (paid for by The Ski Connection). I looked for pictures and stories of this event in both papers and failed to find any. The Ski Connection had paid ads in both papers for several weeks ahead so everyone should have been aware of this event and both newspapers should have been represented. Could it be that because there were so few visitors in town our local newspaper don't feel the need to report on an event done especially for Park City children |
