Show Howard Binerham Funeral Is Held Howard Rulon Bingham, 75, died Aug. 4, 1972, in a Logan Hospital of complications following fol-lowing surgery. Born Nov. 23, 1896, in Wilson Wil-son Lane, Weber County, to Parley Pratt and Margaret McFarland Bingham. Married Violet Woolf, April 3, 1918, in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Dec. 14, 1946. Married Gladys M. Jensen, Aug. 21, 1950 Former mayor of Amalga; farmer, worked for Calif. Packing Pack-ing Co; bus driver for Cache County School District for 32 years; member Amalga town council, six years; served as president and secretary of Cache County Mayors Assn.; active in the scouting program, 38 years; active member LDS Church; Sunday School superintendent; superin-tendent; high priest group leader, member of the 17th Quorum of Seventies presidency; presi-dency; home teacher for 50 years. Survivors: widow, Logan; sons, Jay R., Bountiful; Tad Howard, Park City; two stepchildren, step-children, Mrs. Ross (Jennie) Christensen, Rod Jensen, both Logan; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; six stepgrand-children; stepgrand-children; brothers, sisters, Ralph, Amalga; Leone Eldwood, Mrs. William (Winona) Ellett, both Smithfield; Mrs. Grant (Erma) Webb, Logan; Mrs. Omar (Eunice) Buttars, Ogden. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Monday, noon, at Nelson Memorial Funeral Chapel, Logan. Lo-gan. Burial in the family plot, Smithfield Cemetery. |
