Show ( ' 'r(y fm Effective November 1,1974 E. James Comer has been appointed Mine Superintendent Superinten-dent for operations of Park City Ventures in the Park City Mining District. Mr. Comer joined United Park City Mines Company on June 9, 1969 and has remained with the management manage-ment organization since Park City Ventures assumed assum-ed operation on August 1, 1970. Mr. Comer graduated from the University of Utah with a BJ3. in Mining Engineering En-gineering in 1969. He served as a field assistant as-sistant with UV Industries prior to his service with United Park and Park City Ventures as mine engineer and chief engineer. He resides in Heber City, Utah. His duties with Ventures have included supervision of engineering design in the expansion of the underground and surface plant in connection connec-tion with the mining and concentrating con-centrating operation that will begin production on April 1, 1975. Park City Ventures is a partnership--60 The Anaconda Ana-conda Company and 40 American Smelting and Refining Re-fining Company. With 100 million automobile auto-mobile and truck tires abandoned aban-doned yearly, scientists are studying experiments that have produced 140 gallons of oil and 1,500 cubic feet of gas from one ton of tires. |
