Show Lilfle Miss Buckaroo Contest August 17 in Coalville Arena The Little Miss Buckaroo contest will be held Thursday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Coalville arena. Every little girl, age 8-11 in the county is invited to come and participate in it. A western hat, boots, pants, are required. Gloves, pins, scarves, etc. can be worn for accessories. The horsemanship pattern will be: lead your horse in, talk to the judge, mount your horse, walk, trot, gallop, figure 8, sliding stop, and a grand presentation. If anyone would like help with the pattern, call NaVee Vernon, 336-5982. Entry blanks may be obtained obtain-ed from the following in your area: Henefer, Delores Ovard. Coalville, LaVon or NaVee Vernon. Park City, Maria Sweeten. Peoa, Delora Young. Oakley, Delora Young. Kamas, Barbara Wilde. A small tea will be given for the girls and this year's rodeo queen Maria Sweeten, first attendant at-tendant Charlotte Bates and second attendant, Kathy Rich-ins Rich-ins will be there to help. Little Miss Buckaroo and her two attendants will ride grand entries at the junior rodeo and the big rodeos. She will also ride in the parade. Saturday at 12:30 there will be a wild west junior rodeo and showdeo, buckingcalves, barrel racing, pole bending, keyhole race and all kinds of games and fun for the kids. Small trophies or belt buckles will be given to the top winner in each event all you kids get ready for a fun time. A small entry fee of 25? will be charged. charg-ed.
