Show 7oodcrafl neighbors Hear Talks RKGULAR M FETING of The (Neighbors of Woodcraft was 'held Tuesday, July 18 at the Veteran's Memorial Building Build-ing Park City, Utah. Meeting was conducted by Guardian N e i ghbo r Eliza B. Lake. Attendant Jessie McAlevy was instructed to escort Grand Inner Sentinal Margaret Sandburg Sand-burg to a seat at our campfire. Twenty -five Neighbors accompanied ac-companied by some husbands attended the meeting from Circle 41, Salt Lake City, Utah. THE PLEDGE OF ALLEG-iance ALLEG-iance to our flag was given. Captain of Guards, Rosetta Mosby and Guards with Flag Bearer, Hester Whitton, accompanied ac-companied our flagto the camp-' fire. Past Grand officers present were Josephine Preston, Rosetta Ros-etta Mosby and Margaret V. Johnson. District 6 Guardian Neighbor, Agnes McCleerv. Grand Representative, Helen Bircumshaw Statham was excused. ex-cused. All Neighbors from Circle 41 gave short talks on the good of the Order, and how wonderful it was to come up to cool Park City that they all loved and enjoy. One of our own Parkites Tresie Burt enjoyed the visit. TWO REQUESTS FROM the members from Salt Lake to have our beloved Blanch Fletcher play the piano. She played some old timers. Also Gloria L. Larsen sang "If I Give My Heart To You. Pot luck and a social hour followed the meeting. Total present 32. Gloria L. Larsen won the gift of the evening. Eliza B. Lake will be the hostess for our next meeting on August 1. Circle 41 was invited in-vited to join the Park Neighbors Neigh-bors again soon. |
