Box 39 Park City, Utah 84060 Dear Ken: The tour on the 22nd of June was most enjoyable, although we didhaveafewminortroubles with the transportation and high winds, ect. The delegates who were on tour with us were from all parts of the United Sta'es and Canada Can-ada and, I believe, two from England. These people were most impressed with our mountain moun-tain scenery and I believe quite favorably impressed with the trnvn nf Pa rV C.tv . T hplipvp out began Monday noon with the fourth year campers packing in and spending one night on the trail. The rest will leave for Soapstone at 6 a.m. Tuesday and all will return on Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Miss Shelley Crandall is visiting in Salt Lake with her father Earl and brothers Leon, Gene and Roger. She says it is quite a change from Garden Grove, California and was surprised sur-prised to see how much the old home town has grown since she left the Park. Visitors around the Park seen here and there the last day or so were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Draper, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Larremore, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Baker and family. the highlights of the tour to Park City were made possible by two individuals. One, Bea Rummer's interesting description descrip-tion pointing out the eventful history of Park City; and secondly, sec-ondly, Mr. Jim Santy's dramatic dram-atic tour of the mine-train museum. And of course Ken, I do not want to overlook expressing ex-pressing my appreciation to you for your congeniality in helping help-ing to make the arrangements which included previewing your facilities. Dear Mrs. Kummer: Louis and I and our guest, Verene, fell in love with Park City. We came back following the Seed Analysts tour Thursday Thurs-day afternoon and spent most of Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday morning there instead of going on to Nevada as planned. plan-ned. We explored the town thoroughly -drove on all the back streets and took numerous pictures. We also attended the Melodrama, Melo-drama, shopped in art galleries and gift stores, bought a few antiques, tried several interesting inter-esting restaurants, and attended a fun, friendly dance. The two old cemeteries were delightful, the h e a d s t o n e of marble carved like a small chair with a child's clothing is one of the most beautiful and touching we've ever seen.
