Show Bud Horan Has Picture of Park Citv Band of 1915 "The old home town isn't like it used to be!" So spoke Bud Horan from Hemet, California visiting with his wife, Louise, in Park City and staying with his sister-in-law, Maie Horan at her home on Park Avenue, Bud was born here in 1897 and was one of the first Park-ites Park-ites to go in to theUnitedStates Navy in World War I; and do you know that after 53 years he can still wear his uniform! He wears it every once in a while in a Hemet parade. He carries a picture inhis pocket of the Park City Band in 1915 in which he played and he pointed out a couple other well-known Park C it y names who were members. How many can you identify? Bud said he worked for a while in the King Mine and was there to help George Gasparac the time of the mine fire. He moved away from Park City a long time ago but likes to visit here frequently. He also is a regular subscriber to the Park Record so he keeps in touch with local affairs.
