OCR Text	Show EXPLANATION In order to clear up any mis-unnderetainding mis-unnderetainding which may have occurred regarding the play in Monday's game, when Tony Strelich nearly scored a home-run, the following ex- ' planation is offered the scorer: Strelich hit the ball into deep right center field, and circled the bases, but failed to touch first base.. Therefore, There-fore, since he was out at first, he failed to get credit for any '' kind of a bit, whatever.. This i in accordance with a ruling made upon a similar case in the . big leagues.
