Honors Veterans I A sing out about a new tomorrow tomorrow to- to morrow along with patriotic songs were presented In a Veterans Veterans' Day concert at Centerville Centerville Cen- Cen terville Jr High The concert was held FrIday Nov 11 in the school gym Two performances were given one In the morning and one at night THE grade girls girls' and boys boys' choruses held helda a sing out They sang several songs Among them were Up With People Freedom Isn't Free and C Way America Amer- Amer Ica Narration for the sing out was done by Miss Hiss Mary Allred In n the morning and Mrs lies Eva at the evenIng per per- Both narrators are members or of the faculty at The grade mixed chorus sang three songs They Included The Battle Hymn orthe Republic lic America Our Heritage and the finale From Sea to Shining Sea The band also played America and The star Spangled Banner SPEAKER for the program was Robert B B. B Young a war veteran vet vet- I eran He spoke about patriotism and the meaning of the word square The program was under the dIrection of Earl Standing and Ralph Visser
