| Show LATE DAVID KAY BURIED funeral services were held from see ond ward the funeral services over the re mains of the late david kay which were brought to ogdan from california laet friday were bold in the second ward meetinghouse at two yesterday afternoon bishop ric presiding the opening prayer vas offered by james after the choir rendered several beautiful selections the tor the occasion were andrew bowman johre A boyle Willi ai critchlow and bishop all 0 whom dwelt at length on the good character of the deceased decea sed bo was always very liberal and of a kind and disposition one who was without the spirit ot deceit and goodness and firmness to the belief which he ha espoused was highly commendable the closing prayer was by president C F and the choir again sang several selections after which trie funeral cortege which wag very large conned and was led by a band 0 music to the ogden city cemetery where the remains were laid to rest in the family burial plot the grave being dedicated by bishops counsellor george shorted the meetinghouse was filled to overflowing with relatives and friends who had gathered to pay their last respects to the dead and there were many who were unable to gain admittance the floral tributes were many and beautiful a great portion of them ac companying compa nying the body from california where the deceased had a host of friends |
