ATTEMPTS TO CASH A CHECK FOR WHICH IS NO GOOD he obtains 5 in cash and in drinks at a saloon but suspicion is aroused and his arrest follows A fellow named Mam naron wag arrested yesterday by detective and officer on a charge of forgery the evidence against him is complete and the information will be filed lato this afternoon the prisoner had been employed by contractor J P but work saturday evening and was paid off aci a check for 10 he evidently eoon spent the money received for this check for ho concocted a scheme to recuperate cu his financial condition which led him into his present misfortune ho forged a check for and signed to it the name of sir aneil but made it payable to sam wilson he made an attempt to cash the check at several places but failed until he reached the eagle saloon on lower there be obtained 5 in cash on the check and drinks amounting to inquiry proved the check a forgery tho officers were notified and the arrest followed
