LEAK IN WATER MAIN has caused the surplus water on jtb street in last two years tha trouble encountered during the past two years by the street supervisor and street committee of the council through washington avenue and street being flooded by water which completely filled and overflowed the gutters has been completely settled by L B dalch the new street supervisor hitherto it was supposed that the water came irom a spring on tho street hill but mr baileh at once located tha trouble as n leak in tha water main nt the utah national bank corner ho requested the water company to at once take stepa to obviate the trouble yesterday afternoon their men were put to work and tho leak waa discovered and repaired and for the first time in two yeara the gutter alduff the south side of street between washington and grant ha not been flooded with water
