GIRL I j Surrounded by her parents and sisters, nt the famllv residence. r.Siv Twenty.se frith street, nt 3: IS o'clock this morning, Rachael Emily Brown- Ing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ! E. Browning, peacefully passed to the great beyond, after an lllnesa of about a year. A year ago Miss Browning became ' afflicted with complicated Stomach trouble, and. despite the medical aid I rendered, it seemed Impossible to hrlng about a cure. She was not confined con-fined to her bed. however, until the early part of August, since which tluif. she has been falling. She became too weak to withstand a surgical operation, opera-tion, but it was hoped yesterday that the change for the bettor which came , over her would give her strength and ' ultimately permit of an operation. During the night she grew gradually . worse and. fully realizing that the end ; was near, at 12 o'clock called her par- j ents and other members of her family , to her bedside to bid them good-bye, ! placing her arms around her mother and father. Rachael Browning -was born in Og I den January 1, 189u, She spent her entire life In this city. Iist year sho graduated from the Weber academv. She was a Sunday school teacher in the Fifth ward for a number of years and was among the most enthusiastic church workers among the young women of the city She was a lovable girl, always the bosom companion of her mother and dearly loved by all who knew her Besides her parents and other relatives, Miss Browning leaves a host of friends to mourn her untimely death. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock Sundav In the Fifth ward meeting house,' Bishop H. C. Jacobs officiating. |
