A warrant charging Thorn- 4- as McCoy, right end of the I Hethany coUeso football team. with murder in connection with tin1 death of Captain Ru- dolph Munk of the West Ylr- glnla team, was issued here by Magistrate R.- G. Hobbs. The action followed a partial Inquc-t by Coroner W. W. Rogers. Muuk sustained Injuries In the game between tho two -f f 'teams, from which he died live hours later without regain- lng consciousness. Young testified that .'Junk was making mak-ing Interference nnd was a few yards in front of the scrimmage lino whoa McCoy came up to the West Vlrgina captain, striking bun on the head. Munk fell to the ground unconscious p.nd Young ordered McCoy from the game. The autopsy disclosed that Munk's c'rath was caused by a blood clot at the base of his brain and It could not hive been the result of a former in-J in-J it i y. Warrant will be Served Today. The warrant for McCoy's ar-ie-t has been placed in the hands of an officer, McCoy left college this fall without notifying the faculty and had not played on the team for two weeks. President Cramblett of Hothany said tonight that he was unaware that McCoy Mc-Coy was to play In Saturday's game. Cancel All the Games.
