Show SERVICES AT BAPTIST CHURCH At the n.iptist church last evening the subject, "A Hag With Holes," found in Haggai l:t;. "He that earn-vlh earn-vlh wages, earneth wages to put into a bng of holes," was handled by tho pastor, H. D. Zimmerman, in a fearless fear-less manner. Ho denounced the evils of today, and warned the people against the wrong use of hard earned money. When rightly spent, relating to Christian stewardship, It was a great blessing, and in future years the life would bo one of peace and prosperity. If money is foolishly spent en self and pride, there comes only pain, Ill-health, Ill-health, and spiritual paralysis. Tho cosy little church was well filled, and those worshiping with them for the flrt time, were heard to say after the sctmco that the Baptist people were being fed on the truth of God's word. The sen ice was made more attrac-the attrac-the by the appearance of tho ladies' quartette, whose selection, was well rendered. |
