It is wonderful how the great Orpheum Circuit continues 'o send week nfter week such an array of good things, the coming new bill will no doubt prove that there ' are si 111 a great line of good acts coming our wav. Willard Simms and his little com-pauy com-pauy will headline next week's bill in "Flinders' Furnished Flat." considered consid-ered by many to be the- funniest sketch in vaudeville. Mr. Simms has not only convulsed with laughter the audiences of this country in this sidesplitting side-splitting sketch, but he caused the people of Europe to scream with mirth at it. It is one of the very few sketches written In the English lau-guago lau-guago that have played France. Austria Aus-tria and Germany with tremendous success.- Nothing more irresistably funny can possibly be conceived than Simms' wall paper scene. Mr Simms' support included Eugene Robinson and Marguerite Lucler. The Flying Martins, who come lo the Orphcum next week, are known wherever wher-ever a circus or hippodrome exists, as they have been the premier double trapeze performers of the circus ring for several years. The rapidity ef their work, together with the precision preci-sion of their dives and catches, makG it a pleasure to watch them. Their offering is both thrilling and graceful grace-ful and never falls to fascinate the spectators 1 Leona Thurber and Harry Madison will contribute to the program an unconventional un-conventional skit, called! ' On a Shopping Shop-ping Tour," which consists of dialogue, dia-logue, song and dance. Miss Thurber is a strikingly handsome woman, who costumes herself modishly and tastefully, taste-fully, while Mr. Madison excels as nn ncrohatlc'dancing comedian. Adolph Close will present a Piano-logue, Piano-logue, spoken songs and imitations of types which have been applauded to the echo, wherever they have been given, lie Is an artist in the truest sense of the word and his performance perform-ance is one of the most delightful In vaudeville. Mr. Carlton Chase, a young man of pleasing appearance and possessed of an exceptionally good voice will present pre-sent an act in the way of pinging with a dash of comedy Interwoven that Is sure 10 win approval from tho first number, Mr. Chase Is cne of the new recruits In vaudeville, after playing play-ing leading parts very successfully in a number of the large dramatic companies of the east. Rio is a modern pmnast. whose marvelous feats of acrobatic work will thrill his spectators, and prove that .he is nn artist in his line rf work. These acts, together with another one that will amuse and entertain, will furnish one of the best bills of the season.
