Show NEGROES WIN THE FINAL GAME Salt Lake, Sept. 16. The Occidentals Occident-als turned the tables on Wednesday and won from Ogden, wnen they pounded Tennant out of the box In the first two innings. This gave the negroes a lead that could not be overcome and they won the game, 7 to 2. Ward, who succeeded Tennant, pitched n brilliant game and allowed only four scattered hits In the 6lx Innings ho pitched. Had he been In from the start the game would havo been much closer. Mooney, who was In the hox for the Occidentals, was touched up frequently, frequent-ly, but he kept the safe drivers well scattered and alwas iwas able lo pitch himself out of a tight place. Robinson started off for the Occidentals Occi-dentals in the first with a long two-bagger. two-bagger. He reached third on Lane's out to centerfleld and scored on Lang-ford's Lang-ford's single. Langforl stole second and romped home when Burns doubled. doubl-ed. Burns got to third on Flake's error and scored on a passed ball. In the second inning, Iangley opened open-ed up with a single and went out at second on Hawkin's grounder to Wessler. Hawkins stole second and scored on Lane's double. Langford walked and Lane stole third Then Lane and Langford worked a pretty and successful double steal After the second inning, Ward went In, and for two innings the negroes ne-groes went out one, two, three, in tho fifth, Wessler missed Lane's fly.
