Show MYSTERIOUS AND PURPOSELESS HOAX Denver, Colo., Pee. fi. As the result re-sult of a mysterious and apparently purposeless hoax. Mrs. Mary .1 Hall of Pclolt, wis. Is in Denver searching search-ing for her sister, Mrs Harriet G. Howe, who eft her Wisconsin home ot-r P,n years ago, and from whom Mrs. Hall has heard nothing f-r more than five years. According to Mrs Hall, last spring she received a letter from Mead & liradby, lawyers, who gave their address ad-dress as tho ninth floor of the Pulton building, Denver They informed her that Mrs. Rowe had died here, leaving leav-ing her an estate valued at $.?,oon. l'n-tier l'n-tier the terms of the will. thev declared, de-clared, they were compelled to hold the estate In trust for three years, paving the Income over to Mrs. Hall. The first payment of this Income would be made Pel. 31. 1011. Another letter relative to the estate followed about two weeki after the first, letter let-ter bail been received, and then the eorresiondence ceased. Receiving no answers to the letters which she sent tho luwyers, Mrs. Hall finally decided decid-ed to rome to Denver. l'p.n her arrival ar-rival here she discovered that there was no Pulton block, and consequently consequent-ly no ninth door; that there wa no such firm of lawyers as Mead & llrad-loy; llrad-loy; that there was no record of Mr?. Harriet Rowe as having lived here, and that there was no estate. Incidentally, Inci-dentally, she learned that there never, has been, and probably never will be, a "Pebruary .11," a point which she had heretofore overlooked. There has been no uttempt.
