Show EGGS FORTY CENTS A DOZEN. Eggs are forty cents a dozen in Ogden and the prospects arc this price is just the beginning of an upward movement which will make eggs a luxury beyond tho reach of any person without money to throw at the birds. No one knows why eggs are so high. The dealers cannot explain, ex-plain, and the farmers and poultry raisers claim they are not responsible respon-sible for fixing the price. Some one has said that the cold storage houses are arbitrarily regulating the price. The cause of the unusually high figures for eggs should be traced and some remedy applied, or the Utah egg caters will be forced to fall back on breakfast foods, or resort to stimulants to ward off brain-fag and other nerve disorders. |
