Edwards, W. E. Sockctt, W. II. Eddy, William Hunt, Ernest Townsend and Norman F. Doyle. The complaint alleges fuat. In tbj early part of 11)09, the plaintiff entered en-tered into a contract with the defendant de-fendant to do certain plumldug work on the residence of the defendant; that the work was done and tho defendant paid for the same, except a balance of $28.80, which amount tho plaintiff says the defendant has icfused to pay. The defendant, iu his answer, states that .the plumbing Job wan a defective defect-ive one, and that- the ; plaintiff has lit en paid all it was worth, setting up that, on the other hand, when the job ehall have been gone over and made good, It will cost much more than the balance the plaintiff claims is due. The case was commenced In the municipal court, a verdict being rendered rend-ered there in favor of the defendant, the plaintiff appealing to the district court for another hearing. PLUMBING CASE IN . COURT ' The Jurymen for the December term of the district court v. ere examined exam-ined this morning by Judge Howell regarding their statutory qualifications qualifica-tions to serve as trial jurors, all being be-ing accepted except Thomas Bradley, who was exempt from service because be-cause of his employment in the United Slates postal service. A number of jurors of the regular panel were not iu court, due to the fact that they were sick, or out of the jurisdiction of the court at this time. District Attorney At-torney Nathan .1.
