Show CITY FAILS TO PRESENT EVIDENCE Earl Pingree wits arraigned in police po-lice court on the charge of petit larceny, lar-ceny, the complaint allegmg that on July 9th he stole a set of lineman's tools belonging to A. D. Hay, valued at $8. Pingree said he was pot guilty of the alleged theft. There being no witnesses In court to prove the allegations alle-gations of the complaint, the court ordered that tho.icae be dismissed and the defendant discharged. The court stated that if the city could not furnish witnesses In its cases, that such cases would be dismissed. O.
