Show EXTENSINGI ELECTRIC LINE Plain City. July 11. The homes of Plain City will bo lighted by electricity electric-ity before the end of the year. Arrangements Ar-rangements to this end have beeu entered into with The Home Tele-phono Tele-phono & Electric company, a Davis county concern having a power plant In Farmlngton canyon. The wires of this company already run from Farm-Ington Farm-Ington to Hooper, and now they will bo extended from Hooper to Plain City, a distance of about twelve miles. Coal in considerable quantities is arriving over the suburban railroad. Dealers are laying In a stock for the fall and winter trade. Tho church has bought a half lot adjoining the mooting house where it Is proposed to erect an amusement hall. Plain City has already had two such halls neither of which has been the success It should have been. Tho ball teams of Plain city nnd Hooper played their third game In the series of league games here last Saturday. Sat-urday. Tho Plain City team won by a 6core of 10 to 7. |
