Show I. O. O. F. ENTERTAINS. One of the pleasant events In Ogden Og-den Lodge No. 5, I. O. O F, Is the semi-annual visit of the Grand Ixjdge. Last evening was no exception to the rule, when Grand Master John Mor-ley Mor-ley of Eureka, Deputy Ginod Master P. P. Chrlstenson of Salt Lake, Grand Secretary P. A. Slmpklns of Salt Iake, Acting Frand Treasurer A A. Sum-tier Sum-tier of Ogdon, Grand Marshall II. C. Wardlelgh of Ogden. Grand Representative Repre-sentative EJ Pierce of Salt Uike. Grand Representative F. K. Slraup of Bingham and District Deputy Grand Marshall F. Blattert of Ogden, were the honored guests of the local organization organi-zation at the lodge room on Washington Washing-ton avenue. Sieeches by tho Grand Lodge members, partaking largely of la. est instructions from the Sovereign Grand Lodge, I. O O. F., whlich mot recently in Atlanta, Georgia, and to which last evening's visitor were delegates, del-egates, occupied the major portion of the time, together with expressions of fraternal fealty aud tbe r?gular lodge worw. Following the lode,o meeting an oyster supier at Kennedy's was a b.st enjoyable feature, tho guests of I'ouor and about 150 of the local I, O. O F. members participating. Toasts to the Grand l3dge officers, appropriate appro-priate response and pleasant social that, while cigars were enjoyed, coin-pitted coin-pitted tho evening, tbe guests offering hearty congratulations to their hosts for the royal good time always accorded accord-ed them by the Ogden brothers. |
