Show ORGANIZE SOY sGmnjGoiciL The various representatives of the religious and other organizations Interested In-terested In the Boy Scout movement la this city met at "the court house at 8 o'clock last evening and organized the council board. There wero about twenty-five present at tho meeting. Includlns Mayor Clasmann. Chief ot Tolice Browning, Jadgo V. C. Gisnnell, Dr. E. G. Cowans, 0f the Utah Industrial Indus-trial school, Superintendent J. M. Mills of the public acnools and members mem-bers of various churches. Dr, S. W. Whoerv was chosen chairman chair-man ot the Scout Council. The other officers ere chosen a follows: Vice chairman, A. T. Wright. Secretary and treasurer. Dr. E. P. Mills. Dr. Gowans was elected Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Scout Master and will bo at the head of the scout masters In Ogden. The executive committee, is composed of Don McGuire, James Cooper and J. D. Skeen. All organizations In Ogden which have within their membership boys or young men aro requested to snd in the names of those who can be ?rpl??d act as scout masters of the different patrols. All organization in the city are urged to tako up this work. 1 It Is planned to have these scout masters or patrol loaders meet with r Gowau as eoon a8 possible to receive re-ceive Instructions and become posted on the work that l8 expected of them. As soon as a charter Is received froni headquarters the council will be In position to formally launch the movement. move-ment. The next meeting will be called call-ed as 0on as the charter arrives.
