The roadbed between Kelton and rnibrla Junction, a distance of fifty-six fifty-six miles will he Improved. The line to Corlnne Is In splendid shape, be-ins be-ins ufed dally by the Molad Valley trains. Between Corlnne and Brig ham the Oregon Short Line brancn would be used. Tho water tank, telcprah office and coal chute which were formerly urcd on the old line at Kchon, will be rebuilt by the company. The only part of the old line In need of Immediate attention and which win have to be improved to any great cx-t.-nt Is that between Kelton and Uiu-brla Uiu-brla Junction, which, although the track has been maintained for the pa5t seven yearn, has been used but very Kttl and Is laid with tho lighter light-er weight rall9. which are not heavy enough for the new type of passenger and freight engines. |
