Show JHEYWOOD IS RE-ELECTED . BY CLUB Recommending in his annual report that immediate action be taken in the matter of a new club house, which lias been under discussion in an informal in-formal way for more than u year among the dub members, Hon A. R. Heywood last night received vocifer-fcu-o applause and approval from the o&sembUM members of the Wcbcr Club at the rooms in the Kccles building. Mr. Hejwood In his unnual upi.rt advocated a number of other improvements, but everything was lost sight of In the general hope for Immediate action in the matter ot a new club house. Practically an the old board of directors di-rectors were elected and with few exceptions the officers are the same as those holding ofllce last year. The matter of the new club .house was left to the board of directors and while nothing definite was given out lnt night It is the prevailing impression im-pression that In the near future something some-thing will be dono. It is not known whether the board officers have some building in mind that could be converted con-verted into a club house or whether the club will favor building. In the latter event, the chances lor Ogden getting a handsome and palatial building build-ing arc thought to be exceedingly gf'od. Following are the ' names of tho officers elected lit the meeting last right to serve during the ensuing year: President, Hon. A. R. Hey-wood; Hey-wood; vice prebldcnt, W. C, Wright; treasurer, C. H Barton; secretary. 1. I- Reynolds These, with' the following, fol-lowing, constitute the board of directors: di-rectors: W. D. Brown. J S. Corlew, and Prof K. M. Drlggs. The annual report of Secretary Reynolds shows last year's receipts to have been $32,413.23, leaving a cas.i balance on March 31, 1910. of ?3,-001 ?3,-001 12. During the year 71 new members mem-bers were added to the rolls, bringing the total number tip to 333. The Htatement gives, in detail, all figures of Importance. The membership campaign Is expected to increase run-terlally run-terlally during tho coming year the rolls of the club. |
