Reports received re-ceived locally from the management of the Ely Centennial at Ely are to the effect that from present Indications Indica-tions the oru In the tunnel will be encountered somewhat sooner than was at Drt anticipated. During the past few davs the workmen have entered en-tered a dolomite formation showing a quartz stratification which Is highly mineralized, and mining men who have recently vl-dted the mine express the opinion that ore Is likely to make at anytime, even though the values wero not expected at this point. The tunnel Is In about 570 feet, and It was expected that It would be neees-sary neees-sary to reach the SSO-foot point at least before any of the or bearln; fissures were encountered.
