Show GERMANIA WINS IN BIG SCHOONER RACE Kiel. June 27. The big schooner race was the event of interest in today's to-day's regetta. 'the weather was fine, but there was scarcely any wind. The Germanla, owned by Lieut. Krupp vo.i Bohlen and Haldach. won easily, finishing fin-ishing ten minutes before the Hamburg, Ham-burg, which was sailed by Tietjens. Tho Hamburg was thirty minutes ahead of the Meteor, the emperor's yacht, on which the emperor had as his guests the American ambatsador, David Jayne Hill, Allison B. Armour, and Commander Bltzman, the German naval attache at Washington. |
