Show THIRTIETH TURNFEST ENDS WITH AWARDING OF PRIZES Cincinnati, June 27. With the awarding of prizes iu the athletic contests late today, tho thirtieth turn-fest turn-fest of the North American Gymnastic Gymnas-tic Union ended. The festivities have been witnessed by record-breaking crowds representing represent-ing all parts of the United Statos and Germany. It is estimated that more than 50,000 visitors were hero. As was expected, Jos Lindner, tho prize Turner of Frankfort, Germany, carried off the first individual prize. For the second honor, J. F. Blsslnger of New York Turnverehi, defeated Hugo Peltsch. of Cincinnati, by a narrow margin, the remaining ten highest men in order being: Otto Kahl, Indianapolis; JSlmer Ehman, Pittsburg; Andy Kempf, Kansas Kan-sas City; E. E. Krauss, Philadelphia; Edward Henning. Cleveland: Max j Marschner. Philadelphia, and Herman Klug. Baltimore. |
