Show BRIGHAM CITY NOTES. Brlgham City, June 24. .Monday evening the members of the Box Elder Republican club met at the courthouse. President J, Francis Merrell was chairman of the meeting. The purpose pur-pose of the meeting was to adopt tho by-laws' which had been proposed by the executive committee. The bylaws by-laws were adopted with but few slight : changes. Speakers of the meetings were" ex-Mayor C. Hoist, F. W. Fish-burn Fish-burn and E. A. Box. Adjournment wa- taken until the second Monday j in July. J About 200 old people of Box Elder i county will take advantage of the i Oregon Short Lino railroad company j and go to Salt Lake City on the old folks' outing on Juno 29. As stated by the chairman of the local committee, commit-tee, there will he but one over 90 vears from Box Elder and about twenty-five twenty-five over SO years. The special train j will start from Brlghnm. Two operations were performed on ! two little girls, one Miss Ora Hunsak-er Hunsak-er of Honeyville and the other Miss Mary Anderson of this city. In each case an abnormal growth was removed remov-ed from the base of the nose. Miss Anderson, who is the daughter, of Mr. j and Mrs. John Anderson, had been 1 treated for some time for catarrh. Both patients are improving rapidly. |
