That It is proposed to amend Sections 2 and 3, of Article 18 of tho Constitution of the State of Utah, so that such sections will read as follow : So.-. 2, To the end that the burden of taxation may b equitable upon all properly, the legislature is empowered to divide all property Including mon try and credits as weJl ao physical property into classes and to determine deter-mine what cls.ss or classes of proper ty shall be sttbject to taxation and what property. If any. shall not bo sah.lect to taxation Taxe-a shall bo uniform upon all property of the same class and shall be levied and collected collect-ed for public purposes only. Taxe mar be Imposed upon any and all property, Including privileges, franchisee fran-chisee and licenses to do business In the state, but this snail not be so con. trued aa to authorlxe the taxation of the stocks of any company or corporation corpora-tion when the property of such company com-pany or corporation represented by such stocks has been taxed.
