Show WEBBERS TO GO BACK TO PRISON Escaped Convict and Auto Thief May Also Face Utah Charge. SALT LAKE, Dec. 2 Department of justice agents announced today that Clans Welbers. escaped convict, who after stealing -an automobile at Ogden Og-den was arrested, ga e bond, stole another car and was arrested recently recent-ly at Kansas City. Mo., will not be brought back to I'tah to face trial. Weibers was arrested In Ogden first by Motorcycle Officer C. E. Lelser In an automobile he was alleged to have stol.-n from Alamosa. He was brought to Salt Lake for arraignment before United States Commissioner Van Pelt, his bond signed sign-ed hy his mother Welbers was released re-leased and upon his return to Ogden and while awaiting trial he stole from the Mack-Koblnson garage an automobile owned by W, H.
