Those who made the hike 30 years aeo were O A. Kennedy, George Hal- . rson. R. C Harbison. C. H Kin her, I Charles 8 Pulver. They all lived In' I ogden then. TRIO HAKE ItSSl NT The three to show up Monday and make the hike were Mr Kennedy, Mr j Halverson and Mr. l'ulver Kennedy and Halverson still reside in Og&euJ while Mr. l'ulver lives in Salt Lake The two absent ones were R C Har-ilson Har-ilson of San Bernardino, Calli., and C H. Kircher of Worland. Wyo. Thlrt years ago, on the peak's lop the five young m -n formed the "Grand Lodge of the Alpine Order." The! five were charter members and all others who have made the hike since are members. It was voted that Brother Harbison's! limbing of Mt. Whitney last veari would operate as a bar to his expulsion! but that Brother Kircher should be re-1 ulred to show cause. The following named hikers being present and having shared the dangers dan-gers and privations of the "lone trail awlnding," were admitted as members.
