Show oo FARM LOAN SEEKERS DISCUSS NEW LAWS I WASHINGTON, May 9. Legislation ! to provide long term credits for farmers farm-ers was discussed at a conference Mon-Iday Mon-Iday between members of the unofficial bi n tie agricultural bloc and representatives represen-tatives of national furm organizations. The object of the conference, accord-ling accord-ling to Senator Capper. Republican. Kansas, chairman of the bloc, w;ls to endeavor to unite those Interested In the legislation behind a composite bill. Senator tapper was authorized to appoint a committee later to present recommendations. The meeting was the first of the bloc since Senator Capper Cap-per was chosen to succeed former Senator Sen-ator Kenyon of Iowa. A half dozen long term agricultural credit bills are now before congress with some of the provisions agreeable to various elements in and out of congress. con-gress. Senator Capper said There are disagreements also on various points which It Is hoped to work out later.
