Show iDEMANDS JURY TO TRY DRUNK CHARGE Howard Skeen. charged with being drunk, failed to appear in the city court this morning and his ball of $50 was declared forfeited R. D. Allen charged with tho same offenso pleaded not guilty and demanded de-manded a Jury trial. When questioned as to whether he wished to procure the service of an attorney at-torney ho Informed the court that he did not and that he would conduit his own case. The hearing of the trial was set for May 12 at 10 a. m F. M. Marshall pleaded guilty to operating op-erating a motor vehicle without number num-ber plates attached as required by law. He Informed the court that he had driven in from tho country and had the plates In the car but had not had the bolts to put them on and had been arrested before ho had obtained tho bolts. He was given a suspended sentence sen-tence of five days In Jail and told to attach the plates to his car. |
