Show PROSPECTORS LOST IN HILLS OF ALTA SALT LAKE. July 27 Charles M Hlrsch of 356 Ninth East street, and I his son Charles Jr.. 16. became lost' Monday and Tuesday In the upper Little Cottonwood district while on a: prospecting trip The prospectors went to Alta by automobile Leaving their machine at that point, they began the ascent of :i trail which they followed ron-fusedlj ron-fusedlj because of conflicting directions direc-tions that had been given tb'm U Alta. Toward the late afternoon the son became ill and a search was mad for human habitation Several cabins unoccupied. except for rats, were found, but their lack of comforts necessitated ne-cessitated further wandering, which terminated here, limp and hardly able .to proceed further, thev arrived at the cabin of the Alta Helena mlno, about a mile east of Alta At the cabin they found C P Mlck-elson Mlck-elson and Charles Anderson of Sandy The wanderers were provided with all the comforts possible in the mountain home and remained until next day, when they returned to their waiting automobtle at Alta |
