This is h second case tried recently recent-ly by a jury in which the defendant was acauitted. It required two panels of ight men l.efore a lury could he obtained to try tho case and after the testimony was in and the Jurv had received the inductions in-ductions of the court they deliberat-od deliberat-od leas than 20 minutes before returning return-ing a verdict of not guilty. The Jury was composed of V. Q Sallentinc. George Cunningham, C. H. Ellsworth :inl Kdw.ud .1 Duggan . Kred Juckson and William Ryan testified thai they had bought the clg-arois clg-arois from ll;irry Korb that he had iioon taken in the raid conducted by the sheriff's deiartmnl under the direction di-rection of County Attorney David Wll-ion Wll-ion and that the cartons had been left In thp Korb establishment in a wall case under their instructions. oo |
