OCR Text	Show (CAR FALLS THROUGH ICE; DRIVER DROWNS MAD1SOX. Wis., Jan 7 Hal It. Martin, local attorney, was drowned last night when the closed uutomobile he was driving across the ice of Lake Michigan plunged through an open spot in the lake. Martin had attempted a short cut over the Ice but on arriving at tho east shore found his way blocked by snow. lie turned back and was driving driv-ing for an open space when Ihe car broke through tho Ice, nccoidlng to witnesses. Tho body Is believed to bo pinned within the car.
